Holiday Inn Express Greenville by IHG

We were in town to pick up our daughter after freshman year at ECU. We had stayed there before and were happy with the accommodations. But the recent updates are great. The staff is friendly, courteous and helpful.

Last minute trip. Needed a hotel room that wasn't terribly expensive. Had stayed at HI express(es) before. Upon checking in, the front desk concierge said they were undergoing renovations. We were thinking ut-oh, maybe not a good time to have reserved. Instead, once we stepped off of the elevator onto our floor we were greeted with brand new beautiful carpet throughout the hallway. We then opened the door to our room and it was absolutely beautiful and sparkling inside. What a wonderful relief and surprise. We had no issues and the breakfast area was amazing, everything we could have wanted was there. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. Would absolutely stay there again that's why we're recommending it! Unfortunately I don't see where we can post any pictures.

Clean room, great breakfast, quiet room, free HBO, free wifi and very nice staff. Would stay here again next time we are in G-Vegas!

I stayed one night at this Holiday Inn Express in Greenville to visit a family member and it was a relaxing and comfortable experience. Check-in is at 3:00 but I was able to get an early check-in at 2:00 by the friendly staff member. My room was fresh and clean just as the rest of the hotel. I had a comfortable night sleep on my King size bed with clean white linen. I did take advantage of the fitness room that has a couple of cardio machines and dumbbells. Scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy is what I had for breakfast but they also offered vegetable omelet, pork sausage, various breads and fruits as well as coffee and juice. The only issue I had, which I did not address with the hotel staff, is that my window in my room did not close all the way and left a small crack. The only concerns I had, which I did not address with the hotel staff, is the lack of security cameras. None in the fitness room and none in the pool area, lobby area or in the hallways. The other concern was the pool. I would think that only having 3 feet of pool water it would be much clearer than what I saw. I did not get in myself but did see other guest with swim attire on and only assume they got in the water.

Friendly and accommodating staff who treat you as though you are their top priority to serve. Clean and spacious rooms that smell fresh. Easy, free parking, and the location is close to ECU. The hot breakfast is by far the most plentiful I've seen at a Holiday Inn and their 24/7 coffee machine was so helpful when had to wake up early after a long night of travel. Will definitely stay here again and, based on our experience with this hotel, we sought out other Holiday Inn Express hotels in NC during the rest of our trip.

We just arrived and before we even walked in we were greeted with a warm welcoming smile by the GM Rodney! He and Caitlyn at the front desk were absolutely amazing! They were so helpful and friendly, it felt like we knew them already! I’m so thankful for their warm hospitality, I truly felt like they wanted us to have the best experience possible! We will definitely return to this hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone! Thanks again Rodney and Caitlyn!

Pros were close to hospital and restaurants. Rooms were clean and quiet. Cons were ice machine broken on our floor. Took twenty minutes to buy snacks because they could not find us in the system even though we just checked in. Pool is small.

It was my first time staying at this Holiday Inn express. The front desk clerk(Alyssa) was awesome! She had some great food recommendations and was very friendly! I had to change rooms because the A/C unit was leaking onto the carpet and there was mildew. But the change was easy and they were very accommodating! Over all a good stay, the rooms just need to have the ac replaced and carpet removed.
